The first 'Murbanaania' camp kicked off two days ago in the city of Zayed in the Al Dhafra region. Over 10 days, the camp offers a comprehensive educational and awareness experience aimed at enhancing authentic Emirati heritage and fostering a sense of identity and belonging among the youth. Abdullah Mubarak Al Mahiri, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage, stated that the camp seeks to empower participants and build their capabilities, encouraging their positive engagement in society through an integrated program that highlights traditions, majlis sessions, training in falconry and camel riding, desert face reading, cooking, folk games, poetry, and other aspects of daily life. He noted that the launch of the first 'Murbanaania' camp embodies the commitment to strengthening Emirati heritage in the lives of the younger generation, presenting it through contemporary and interactive methods that help solidify national identity and cultivate authentic values drawn from Emirati heritage, aligning with the leadership's vision of preparing conscious and culture-proud generations. Al Mahiri explained that the partnership between the Authority, the Community Development Department, the Department of Education and Knowledge, and the Emirates Scout Association provides a comprehensive educational experience that combines education and heritage knowledge, supporting the development of a generation capable of shouldaring responsibility and actively contributing to the sustainable development of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
